The Balby (Doncaster) Quaker Meeting House belongs to the Religious Society of Friends and its primary use is for Friends to meet together for worship and fellowship. We welcome other organisations to our rooms and several voluntary, charitable and community groups make use of the building. Costs are from £15 per hour per room for a small local community organisation to £20 per room per hour for a commercial organisation.
The building is located near the centre of Doncaster – walking distance from the Railway Station and Interchange Bus Station, and with a frequent bus service within walking distance. [Location and details of car and bus access]
There is on-site car parking for around 12 cars including two allocated parking bays for disabled users.
The purpose built facility is suitable for a wide range of meetings and events, including an attractive, large room which has sliding partitions for expansion and will take up to 60 people, plus two small rooms for meetings and groups of up to 20 each side, divided by a removable wall, which can also be one main room. There is also an office, store and kitchen suitable for self-catering.
All rooms are on the level, with a gentle ramp to the car park, plus a wheelchair-accessible toilet and baby-changing facilities.
