Covid 19 Pandemic

Covid Update

We are now holding Meeting for Worship on a Sunday morning at the Meeting House. All are welcome. Please bring a mask. You are of course welcome just to spend the time between 10.30 and 11.30 in worship with those at the Meeting House.

The Meeting House is open for room hire and implementing the government guidelines. Please contact the office by email only at

Following the 19th July updates to Government Guidance and the relaxing of restrictions we wanted to update potential and returning customers of our plans and next steps.  The Meeting House is available for hire from Monday to Friday although our office is not yet back to full hours.  Please use this web site for any queries and bookings.

In the new situation you must recognise the responsibility for the safety of your groups rests mainly with yourselves, even though we will continue to help groups manage any risk to their participants.

We plan to enable groups to make their own decisions regarding risk, applying social distancing and mask wearing accordingly when using our meeting rooms.  However, we urge customers to consider their own unique risks relevant to their group members and activities.  We have a model risk assessment checklist we strongly urge you to complete prior to your meeting.

We do, however, ask that masks and social distancing are still adhered to in all shared and social areas and when interacting with our staff.

At point of booking, we will advise customers of the room capacity numbers at the following social distancing 2 metres and 1.5 metres along with the original pre COVID 19 room capacities.

Additional cleaning and hygiene measures will continue with regular hand washing and sanitising being advised and being mandatory for staff.  We strive to provide a safe and welcoming space for all visitors to the building whilst being mindful of the different needs of groups and their choices regarding the relaxing of restrictions.  We continue to be a COVID Secure building and look forward to welcoming you to our facilities.
